When I started this new series of work, a talented gallerist told me that I was crazy because I wasn’t an abstract painter. Probably he was right, but sometimes I like to become one of the characters of my drawings and act like them. When I am fed up with my figures, I relax by doing a Moka, and I dream about being a Pollock of the kitchen.
